Our internship program is very unique within the health care industry.

No. Sevita hires and places interns year-round, and we always work to accommodate field placement class expectations. However, the majority of our interns start in the fall and work through two semesters until the end of the school year in May.
Our internship program is unique---it’s more than simply a way to ‘check the box’ and get the internship experience and credits needed for graduation. Interning with Behavioral Health Services at Sevita is an investment in your future, and your career.
Our program provides the structure, regular connections with peers and leaders, and ongoing clinical and career support to help you learn and grow during your internship and beyond. Many of our intern graduates are offered permanent roles on the team, and sign on bonuses may be available!
Our twice weekly supervisions give you the opportunity to connect with Master’s level counseling students, to learn from one another, and talk about your client needs and challenges. We offer opportunities to “Meet and Greet” leaders at Sevita, learn about roles in early intervention, and about life at Sevita and where you may want to take your career.
