My work at Sevita is so meaningful every single day because I get to help somebody feel better or accomplish a goal. You don’t realize how big something as simple as taking a shower or eating a meal can be. It’s the simple things that the people we serve appreciate so much. I get so many ‘thank yous’ in one day — I love it. I can’t complain at all. I fully believe that if you’re not happy at work, you’re not able to live your life fully. At Sevita, I have a blast every day I come to work. It doesn’t feel like work because I get to take care of people and make their day better. This brings me joy and I take that home with me. If somebody asked me about Sevita, I would say “you’re not going to find a better work environment.” They also have great pay, benefits, and there’s always continuing education. I am very fortunate that I have a great support system here, and I think my future with Sevita looks bright.
