Careers, well lived to me is the idea that your career should be more than just a job — it should truly be your passion. That’s what we have here at Sevita, and it makes my work so meaningful.

As an Occupational Therapist, the best part of my job is working with patients and witnessing their progress. I’m able to bond and build relationships with them because we’re working together toward their goals. I love teaching and educating my patients about why we’re doing certain exercises and how it ties back to their objectives. Whether it’s a small or big step, I get to celebrate their victories with them. My patients inspire me every day.

I also have the opportunity to have therapy students shadow me so I can share my knowledge and experience with them. We grow together — it is a privilege and motivates me each day.
